Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a productive reading week and a fabulous weekend. :) This event is hosted by Book Journey and it's purpose is to give bloggers the opportunity to showcase what we have/will read and link up with fantastical fellow book bloggers. If you participate, don't forget to sign the Linky and visit some of the websites listed!
After my trip to the lovely Tennessee mountains, I had a bit of elevation sickness but recovered swiftly once we were back in Florida and our own beds. With that being said, one of my books this week will be a repeater from last week but it's so darn pretty I'm pleased to share the cover with you again! ;)
Here are my reviews of Slave by Sherri Hayes and Forgotten Dreams by Alexia Banks that were on the list last week.
Don't forget to enter my Facebook ONLY GIVEAWAY ending at midnight tonight and my 100 Follower GIVEAWAY ending in 12 days!
And now for what's coming up:
Blurb:
Once
the seeds of desire are sown . . .
Finally
free of her suffocating marriage, widow Daisy Ellis Craigmore is ready to
embrace the pleasures of life that have long been denied her. Yet her new-found
freedom is short lived. A string of unexplained murders has brought danger to
Daisy's door, forcing her to turn to the most unlikely of saviors . . .
Their
growing passion knows no bounds . . .
Ian
Ranulf, the Marquis of Northrup, has spent lifetimes hiding his primal nature
from London society. But now a vicious killer threatens to expose his secrets.
Ian must step out of the shadows and protect the beautiful, fearless Daisy, who
awakens in him desires he thought long dead. As their quest to unmask the
villain draws them closer together, Daisy has no choice but to reveal her own
startling secret, and Ian must face the undeniable truth: Losing his heart to
Daisy may be the only way to save his soul.
Blurb: “Don’t
think. Just feel.” How a moment’s decision in a silly game with two of her
closest friends changes Alexis’ life, and her heart, forever.
It’s
the final night of a weekend camping trip with a group of childhood friends.
They are recent college grads, about to move forward to the next stages of
their lives. It’s a time for reflection, a time for anticipating what the
future will bring. What better way to end that chapter of youth and revelry,
before scattering into the winds od adulthood, than with one last weekend spent
with your closest friends?
But for
Alexis, the events of that final evening cause her world to veer in an
unexpected direction. What should have been a harmless fame of Truth or Dare
with her seemingly platonic pals, Damien and Parker, leads to an experience
unlike any she has ever had before.
Blog Tour: Review and Giveaway
Blurb: It’s the last day of the summer holiday in The Hague when Leah Koopmans’s carefree life as a teen is brutally flipped upside down. Her pale skin turns a dazzling gold, her senses heighten, and her muscles possess an uncanny strength. But with these exhilarating new powers comes a thirst that can only be quenched by one thing: human blood.
While her body craves for fresh victims and her heart drowns in guilt, she meets inhumanly handsome Max Machiavelli, who claims that Leah is an immortal like him. Infatuation ignites into blistering passion when Leah joins his coven in Amsterdam. But as the mysteries shrouding her sudden change to immortality unravel, she quickly learns that her aversion to taking life isn’t the only thing that sets her apart from this group of herculean strangers.
I am so excited to read all of these beauties!
What are you reading?
I really like the cover for Moonglow. I hope it's good!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous right?! I can't wait to devour this baby. :)
Deletexo,
JL
I'm curious about Moonglow and Ian's secret (I suspect he must be a werewolf from the title). I love the cover!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. I've felt carsick when going through the mountains. That is a pretty part of the country though. I love the Smoky Mountains. I hope you have a great week and thanks for visiting my blog.
OoOo! I love your observation!
DeleteI love the Smoky's too - the hubs family has a farm in TN and I'm pretty sure I would've gained 10 pounds from eating all of their delicious and fresh goodies...so I was a little thankful for the elevation sickness! haha!
I hope you have a great week too and thanks for visiting mine back. :)

JL
