Blog Tour, Excerpt & Giveaway: ReAwakened (Angel Creek, Book Two)

Rating: Review in Progress
Genre: YA Paranormal Romance
Author: Ada Adams Website :: Facebook :: Twitter :: Goodreads
Series: Angel Creek
Publication Date: November 27. 2012
Buy: Kindle :: Paperback

Becoming a vampire guardian was Dawn Fairchild’s ticket out of the Scarlet House. Fresh off a successful mission, life in Angel Creek should have been great. But when her sort-of-maybe-boyfriend, Sebastian, disappears on a quest to help a beautiful vampire from his past, Dawn finds herself amidst a web of danger, lies, and deceit.

Joining forces with Razor, an enigmatic rebel lacking both a verbal and a physical filter, and her band of Misfits—Brooke, Sophie, Hunter, and Seth—Dawn is thrust into a race against the clock to solve the mystery surrounding brutal Born kidnappings and come to terms with the sudden discovery of her own unique powers. With time ticking away and Born vampires’ lives in jeopardy, it quickly becomes evident that someone—or something—desperately wants Dawn and is willing to shed any amount of blood to get her.

Dawn has only one chance to face her demons and overcome all obstacles standing in her way as she embarks on the biggest mission of her life—one that threatens a deadly outcome for all involved.

I am about halfway into ReAwakened and it is just another incredible story from Ada Adams. I'm loving the twists and turns on this one, a little darker than ReVamped (you can find my review HERE) and a new sexy character that I cannot WAIT to read more about. :) I'll be reading until the wee-hours of the morning with this one and hopefully will have my review posted in its entirety tomorrow evening.

Cover Reveal & Giveaway: Volcrian's Hunt

Hey everyone! Here is a cover reveal that I've been anxiously awaiting after reading and reviewing both Sora's Quest and Viper's Creed. I love T.L. Shreffler's work and can't WAIT to get my hands on this book. So, HERE is the cover reveal of third book in The Cat's Eye Chronicles, Volcrian's Hunt.

This is almost exactly how I pictured Volcrian...except older. A little bit effeminate with the long grey hair - just perfect! Anywho, I think this cover meshes so well with the previous two in the series.

What do you think?

Summary:: A cursed plague is spreading across the land. Crops are rotting. People are dying in the streets. Sora, with the help of her magical Cat's Eye necklace, is the only one who can stop it.

She must travel overseas to the Lost Isles, a place of legend and mystery. Only there can she destroy the bloodmage, Volcrian, putting an end to the curse. She is accompanied by Crash, a lethal assassin who once threatened—and saved—her life. But Sora is beginning to question her dark companion. He seems to be carrying a secret; a hidden past that could endanger them all.

Meanwhile, they are hunted by an underground society known as the Shade. For centuries, the Shade has waited for the perfect opportunity to step into the light. Now they are perilously close to resurrecting a Dark God and unleashing a wave of unimaginable destruction. They only need to collect the three sacred weapons, and Sora has already found two....

Interview & Giveaway: The First by Sara Zaske

We are so excited to have Sara Zaske, author of The First, here at Between the Bind - please help me in welcoming her!

BtB: Did you always feel that you were destined to be a writer?

SZ: Oh yes. When I was seven, I kept a journal and was very careful what I put in it because I figured someday, after I, the famous writer, had died, all the literary critics would want to read it. Keep in mind, this is just after I learned how to write anything at all. I'm slightly more humble now.
